Let’s take action!

The nature of human trafficking and the methodologies used by stakeholders have heavily changed with the development of social technologies. It has become increasingly easier, faster, and efficient for modern traffickers to attract, communicate with, and trade their victims across global markets. These changes have touched not only communication tools, but also Electronic Identification documents, and transportation logistics, and many more tech-enabled routes for abusing vulnerable human beings. As a result, our research methodologies need to adapt to these new realities. The study of human trafficking and modern-day slavery need to take into account the ever-changing technological tools, economic markets of supply and demand, as well as geopolitics.

Training & Capacity Building

In an increasingly individualistic world, human trafficking and modern slavery are perceived as far-end reality to commoners, yet so physically close to their direct environment. We may have all met a human who has been or is being trafficked without knowing. Many of us lack the tools to identify and respond appropriately to victims or traffickers themselves. Therefore, training across industries and communities, in particular, within the community of service providers to victims is key to the well-being of both new and experienced employees as well as victims themselves. The tailored trainings offer victim-centered and trauma-centered approaches for supporting victims, communicating about this harsh human reality, and rule of law interventions across nations. The training is addressed to medics, counselors, journalists, shelter providers, law enforcement officers, civil society organizations, rehabilitation and reintegration officers, and security personnel.

Main Services:

  • Group Training

  • Individual Coaching

  • Training of Trainers

  • Workshops

  • Informative Sessions

  • Training Manuals

  • Prevention and Intervention toolkits

Advocacy-Make it Happen!

Raising and keeping awareness on global and local agendas is crucial to counter the widespread impunity of traffickers around the globe. However, advocacy also means the creation of restorative justice for the 300 million victims of modern slavery to regain their livelihoods. Fighting human trafficking requires collective efforts to reach the grassroots individual. Bridging international efforts to the local communities creates a stronger resilience for the eradication of modern-day slavery at eradicating slavery. Advocacy ensures that some social norms are questioned and re-examined by creating peaceful communities by shifting the dynamics that lead to the root causes feeding into slavery. Above all, advocacy creates the urgency the anti-trafficking struggle deserves.
